The seven-time world champion also tried to make things interesting for the Italians, such as a clothing sponsorship deal that was not agreed upon in advance. Hamilton announced last week during testing that he would become the face and ambassador of the fashion brand Lululemon. However, he forgot to inform Scuderia Ferrari and the team's official clothing partner, Puma. The Germans were so upset by the move that Ferrari president John Elkann reportedly had to calm things down.
Finally, with Elkann's special permission, Hamilton can cooperate with the aforementioned company, but only on the condition that it takes into account Puma's business interests in the future. The consequence of this affair was that Hamilton was forced to dress normally in Bahrain (meaning, without any contradictory extreme external signs) and every day we could see him in the official Scuderia Ferrari outfits from Puma.
