As we wrote last week, word has spread in Las Vegas that Andretti, who has been doomed to rejection until now, will interestingly appear on the grid in 2026.
And now it has been officially confirmed that the Formula 1 World Championship field will indeed expand! Here are the statements from those involved:

I personally fully support the joint efforts of the FIA, Formula 1 and General Motors and we have already worked out an agreement to have the team at the start of the 2026 World Championship. The parties are committed and will work together to ensure this process runs smoothly,” said Mohammed ben Sulayem.
