Hamilton: "Charles and I are the strongest duo in F1 history"

Hamilton: "Charles a já a nejsilnější dvojice v historii F1"

Tóth Krisztián Márk |

Lewis Hamilton made a stunning statement on the streets of Milan, where Ferrari was holding a grand event. The Briton knows how to light rockets, and this statement is likely to draw both praise and criticism - even from his own fans...

It's nice to have seven world championships, but that's no guarantee, especially not in such a hectic current team as Scuderia Ferrari. Moreover, to claim something like that without any evidence, it will only stand up in statistics, on paper, and even then very strictly if it applies to Scuderia Ferrari. Hamilton's claim will probably be much discussed, but if we look only at the former legends of the reds and their performances, then on this basis Niki Lauda and Clay Regazzoni, Nigel Mansell and Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen, and with a little goodwill even Kimi and Sebastian Vettel could easily be included here (or before them). When we look at the overall picture of F1, this claim is completely banal...

It is evident that Hamilton was very encouraged by the new situation, he has been flying since the transfer, and he is not afraid to constantly emphasize this, in an increasingly bold way: "Charles and I are probably the best driving pair in the history of F1," Hamilton declared.

Nice start. From here it is possible to fall very much, or, conversely, to ascend to the sky . Time will tell which option the machine will choose!
