Dark clouds have gathered over the Red Bull Racing team, and team boss Christian Horner himself does not deny this.
Max Verstappen's surprise victory at the Japanese Grand Prix temporarily put the deepening crisis behind him, but a bitter disappointment followed in Bahrain...:
"The car behaves similarly to last year's model, although I would add that in 2024 we did not have problems with the brakes. The balance is most disturbed between the approach to the corner and the middle of it, which is an aerodynamic problem. The main problem is that we cannot find a solution to it. We understand the problems, but the problem is that the solutions that we have tried on our tools unfortunately do not correspond to what we experience on the track. We need to get to the heart of the problem, because if the two things do not correspond to each other, we will not be able to get out of this pit. Our experts are available, they have built great cars in recent years, I sincerely hope that they can solve these problems as well. We need to find some solution with just our simulator and our wind tunnel, because at the moment it looks like we are looking at two different clocks and watching two different times." - said Horner.
