According to a Red Bull Racing advisor, Lewis Hamilton is in big trouble and can't even hide it anymore. The Briton's despair is quite obvious.
Helmut Marko claims that Hamilton has already had his year off and is focusing all his energy on the next one:
"The truth is that I see him as quite desperate. I think he is already waiting for the rule changes and his car for 2026, and he hopes that Scuderia Ferrari will build a car this time that will suit him much better and with which he will have a chance to win his eighth world title."
Frederic Vasseur himself does not deny that Hamilton has not been feeling his best lately, but according to the team boss, this can only benefit him:
"Of course he is under pressure because he only finished seventh, while Charles Leclerc finished on the podium. But I think he can turn that into an advantage because the real problem would be if he was satisfied. He is not, he is hungry for success, motivated, on top of that he is an extremely competitive personality who always wants to get the best out of himself. He does not always succeed, so his disappointment is understandable. Now we just have to work and rule everything out, and I support him two thousand percent to find his true form."
