Six drivers will enter the F1 circus in 2025, for whom this will be their first full season in F1. The number of newcomers is unprecedented, and the official F1 channel did not want to miss their introduction!
Based on this situation, the idea came up: why not make a documentary film that would show the development of young racers? Thus came the film Rookies, which in 50 minutes provides a look at the rise of Gabriel Bortoleto, Kimi Antonelli, Isack Hadjar, Jack Doohan and Oliver Bearman. Childish dreams, moments behind the curtain, arriving on the threshold of F1... The film promises never-before-seen footage, enriched with exclusive interviews with people who actively participated in finding the path of young racers.
The new generation has arrived.

Among them was Bruno Michel, the first man in F2 and F3, who shares his thoughts on the five drivers and how proud he is that these guys can now all be F1 drivers. We also look at how F2 and F3 prepare young drivers for their professional careers. According to F1, the film “has an innovative and personal tone” and is now available to F1TV Access and F1TV Pro subscribers.
