Ralf Schumacher is convinced that Max Verstappen will no longer race for Red Bull Racing next year, and he will defend this opinion even if he is sued for it.
The reason is not so much Red Bull's weakening this year, but we need to think deeper to understand what the German is saying:
"It is absolutely clear that Max Verstappen will only stay at Red Bull for a short time. It is not because of a weak car, but the new engine project has distorted the relationship between the driver and the team. And also the power struggles... However, Mercedes and Aston Martin with Honda could be a familiar track for Max. He knows what to expect there. In the meantime, other difficulties will come at Red Bull, for example with the engine electronics, the gradual erosion of the team. There is constant tension between Christian Horner and Helmut Mark, which does not lead anywhere good, even a blind person can see that. Max Verstappen hates that and tries to avoid it. That is the reality, even if Horner sues me for my opinion.
"Toto Wolff is also targeting him at the moment, because he underestimated Verstappen once before, and that turned out to be a huge mistake. But Max is not going to Mercedes, he is going to Aston Martin. Either Fernando Alonso or Lance Stroll should leave early to make room for him, but the Greens will sort it out."
