Although we still have to wait a while for the start of the 2025 season, the real work is already underway, we will soon hear the first starts of the new cars, the film days will begin and then testing... And boom, the start of the championship is here at the Australian Grand Prix!
And now with a serious change, because this is F1 returning to its roots and established traditions, because not long ago it would have been unthinkable that the season would not start in Melbourne. Thank God, traditions have won, so on March 16, the 76th season of Formula 1 will set off on the road at Albert Park, where this year, like last year, 24 races will take place, including six sprint weekends. The first of them will take place on the second race weekend of the year in Shanghai, then Miami, Spa Francorchamps, Austin, Sao Paulo and Losail will be exciting on Friday.
The field will arrive in Europe in mid-May, with Imola being the first race to enter the old continent. For us Hungarians, the key change is that the Hungarian Grand Prix has regained its usual role as the last race before the summer break, taking place between 3 and 5 August at the already partially restored Hungaroring. The location and time of the final race remain fixed, this year again at the beginning of December, with F1 closing the current racing year in Abu Dhabi.
