He won't do you any favors and he won't make mistakes in the decisive moments, as Lando Norris did. If Norris wants to be a real challenger, he has to get a lot stronger, especially mentally. Let's look at 2024, when Norris had a competitive car much longer than Verstappen. Was he able to take advantage of that? No, because he made a lot of mistakes. All of that happened because Max simply overtook him in a tight situation... If Norris has a car this year and the team stands behind him as one man and makes fewer mistakes in the decisive moments, then he can have a chance at the world championship title. In any case, I wouldn't bet big money on Max Verstappen..." - said Van der Garde.
