According to the Red Bull Racing individual world champion, McLaren's young generation, especially Lando Norris, still has a lot to learn.
The Dutchman believes that if McLaren had been more consistent, he would have been ahead, but the Papayas were celebrating the individual world champion title:
"Lando Norris would have won the world championship, no matter how big my advantage is. Simply because they had the best car, but as a team and individually they still have a lot to learn if they want to turn those credits into victories. They took the constructors' championship beautifully, that's fine, but they could have prepared better for the drivers' race. Instead I hear what? Papaya rules... Honestly, is this some kind of joke? What does that mean? That you can't race? When they say such nonsense to me on the radio, they immediately react: be quiet...!! That was missing to be able to show strength." - revealed the secret of Max Verstappen.
Do you think if Lando Norris was more aggressive in certain situations, would he really have a chance to beat Max Verstappen?
