After Australia, everyone was talking about Kimi Antonelli, after China, everyone was talking about Oscar Piastre and the Scuderia Ferrari drama. But why is no one talking about George Russell?
This question could easily be asked by Toto Wolff, who claims that Russell has long been among the best.
"It's a bit unfair what's happening. Now everyone is talking about Lewis Hamilton, his move to Ferrari has taken over the debate in Formula 1. And then there's Kimi Antonelli, who is really young and very talented, and he's our driver. While George is hardly talked about, he's in the invisible category. That's not right because he's one of the best in the sport. He's in the top 3, but I can boldly say that he's also in the top 2 and is very well on his way to becoming the best. That was also shown in the Chinese Grand Prix. I would never give a 10 out of 10 to any driver, but George deserved a 10. It's amazing what he was able to get out of the car, how he handled the tyres and executed the strategy. Only the best can do that." - praised his driver Toto Wolff.
